We understand that hackathons can be hard, especially given the virtual nature of our current world. If you don't feel as though your hack is complete enough to submit to one our of main tracks, submit your (unfinished) project to a Low-Code Track Parallel (Canvas/Blueprint/Newsprint) to be considered for a mini prize and special recognition during our Closing Ceremony.

Best Use of Azure for Social Good

The Best use of Azure for Social Good prize is awarded to the team who makes the best use of Azure during DubHacks. The primary requirement is that your hack project includes Azure in some way to advance the betterment of society or the globe. You can find our scoring rubric on our Hack with Azure page.

The winning team will receive a Xbox Ultimate Game Pass, LinkedIn Premium Membership, and a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice.

Any team that chooses to enter will evaluated on the following criteria:

1. Was the project developed using Microsoft Azure and did it have a positive impact? (required for entry)

2. Does the project address a clear need, problem, or opportunity and is the solution clearly explained? (10 points)

3. Does the project include innovations in technical design and/or implementation of services (e.g., Cognitive Services, Bot Services, IoT Hub, Functions) and/or user experience? (20 points)

4. Does the project have a clear target market or audience? (5 points)

5. Is the project’s purpose and basic functionality easily understood? (5 points)

6. Does the project have a professional degree of production in terms of performance, user interface, visuals, and audio? (10 points)

Winner is highest total score out of 50

Tie-break: Does the team have a credible plan for getting their project to market in terms of business model, any required partnerships, or other factors?

Description: We will be judging projects on the best web-based application soution built with Bubble. Each member of the winning team will have access to $1,000 in Bubble credits for 6 months. We encourage you to attend our workshop on how to use Bubble, and feel free to check our Slack Channel for the times that we'll be online to answer any questions!

Qualifications:

- Build using/incorporating Voiceflow in their project

- Submit a "download" link or "shareable" link of their project with their submission so we can see their project and include a quick brief (video or written) on how they used Voiceflow or voice in their project.

Barn2Door Small Business Hack

Technology has allowed many small businesses to transition to virtual platforms, but countless small businesses still endure a multitude of challenges. Barn2Door is an impact-driven technology startup in Seattle, helping sustainable Farmers move their small farm businesses online. The winning team will help impact small businesses in a positive way (bonus points if it positively impacts the food system). Each team member from the winning team will receive $25 of local farm food, and Barn2Door swag (hats, stickers).

Disney: Best Collaboration and Storytelling in Entertainment (1st)

Many people find it challenging to collaborate and share experiences in a virtual setting.
